What is CommTechIndex?
CommTechIndex is a digital self-assessment built around 24 statements and eight connected dimensions. The project website indicates a completion time of approximately eight minutes. It provides a structured starting point for discussing the capabilities, processes and conditions behind modern corporate communication.

Looking at these dimensions together helps teams move beyond a list of software purchases. Technology choices depend on usable data, clear responsibilities, appropriate skills and an understanding of the outcomes communication should support.
The connection to Uwe Seebacher’s work
The project draws on themes from Uwe Seebacher’s published work on communication transformation and predictive intelligence. The methodology page references Unternehmenskommunikation neu gestalten and Predictive Communication Intelligence. It presents expertise from AQPS, FYNEST and Predictores.
How to use the result
Responses use a consistent five-point scale. The published method normalises each dimension to 0–100, gives the dimensions equal weight and highlights the three lowest-scoring areas in its recommendations.
The result reflects a team’s own assessment. Independent statistical validation of this specific questionnaire has not yet been established. Its immediate value is as a framework for reflection: compare perspectives, identify the reasons for differences and agree on a focused development priority.

CommTechIndex ist eines unserer aktuellen Projekte für Kommunikationsteams. Die digitale Selbsteinschätzung führt mit 24 Aussagen durch acht Dimensionen: Technologie, Daten, Prozesse, Kompetenzen, Stakeholder-Dialog, Governance, kollektive Intelligenz sowie Messung und ROI.
Die Themen knüpfen an Uwe Seebachers Arbeiten zur Transformation der Unternehmenskommunikation und zu Predictive Communication Intelligence an. Das Ergebnis bildet die Selbsteinschätzung der Teilnehmenden ab; eine unabhängige statistische Validierung des konkreten Fragebogens ist bislang nicht etabliert. Es dient als strukturierter Ausgangspunkt für gemeinsame Reflexion und die Priorisierung nächster Entwicklungsschritte.
